About Me

I'm a kind, analytical person who strives to help people become better every day. I love technology and often spend hours at a time fiddling with new devices and teaching friends (and even strangers) how to use theirs. Software development is a natural infatuation of mine because it lets me create and change even the most niche of projects. I am always looking for new challenges and experiences that let me make a difference in the world.

Cooking is a passion of mine, both creating amazing dishes to share with friends as well as trying new restaurants of all types. I also love all aspects of problem solving, from the complete unknown at the start to that feeling of growth by the end. Music is another love of mine, ranging from simple, catchy melodies to complex songs that have me on my feet dancing. I'll confess there are a few exceptions though – I can't say that Tuvan throat singing is at the top of my list.

I'm highly personable and approachable, and have a magnetic personality that has attracted more nicknames than I can remember. In my free time I enjoy all types of media – video games with expansive narratives, movies and tv shows filled with action, comedy and drama, and novels that take me on thrilling adventures.

It's also important to me that I take good care of myself in my down time. Without good health and wellbeing, it's very hard to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I love combining my innate talents with my new software development skillset and I can't wait to find the next place to put those skills to good use and to continue growing.
